体育投注The Department of Student Services offers a wide variety of programs and services to ensure students are fully supported in, and out, of the classroom.

The professional skills of counselors, psychologists, and social workers, along with school health nurses, provide coordinated "wrap around" services that contribute to the mental, emotional, and social health of students, their families and the school environment. 

体育投注Qualified professionals such as school and community counselors, school and community psychologists, school health nurses, social workers, and qualified staff from community agencies provide these services. 


There are many ways to request services and get help.

  • Talk to Your School Counselor: Start by asking your counselor or principal about any concerns or services you may need.

  • Download a Resource Guide: The Student Services Department created a that has information on services available in school and in the community. The guide contains information on topics from health to family safety to mental health and employment services.

Programs that Help Students and Families in our Community

We offer a wide range of programs and services to ensure students are fully supported, in and out of the classroom. The Metro Schools coordinated approach to school health improves the health of students and their capacity to learn through the support of families, communities, and schools. Our school social workers, provide counseling services, coordinate support groups, act as family advocates with school personnel and connect families with community resources and services.

We have school-based Family Resource Centers are committed to increasing the wellbeing of children and families with a coordinated and holistic approach to providing services and support. Each Family Resource Center is a partnership of health and social service providers, residents, schools, businesses and faith-based organizations, all working together to connect families and students to community services and the needs of the neighborhood.

Family Resource Centers (FRCs) also offer services tailored to their specific School community and offer things such as GED classes, English-language classes, counseling, parenting classes and some health services.
